Abstract: The phenomenon of Internet addiction among teenagers is becoming more and more serious with the increasing competition stress in contemporary society and the rapid development and popularization of the Internet. The health and social problems caused by Internet addiction have become one of the focuses of public attention. In this paper, we review and synthesize the extant studies to discuss the mechanism and treatment of teenagers’ stress and internet addiction. According to the analysis of teenagers’ Internet addiction behavior motivation to stress source, the author summarized the treatment methods and limitations of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for this disease in recent years, which can provide experience summary for teenagers to effectively prevent Internet addiction.
