Abstract

The article investigates the role of transnational corporations in the processes of optimization of market relations in the context of economic globalization. Methodological and historical aspects of the emergence of transnational corporations and separate stages of their activity in the context of tendencies in development of foreign trade are considered. The authors identify and analyze the main factors and competitive advantages of transnational corporations, which lead to the improvement of production forces and contribute to the globalization of the economy and global competitive relations.
