Abstract

The article discusses aspects of the effectiveness of the implementation of international standards developed by the Basel Committee to strengthen the sustainability of credit institutions, reducing the cost of eliminating the effects of economic and financial crises in the regions and in the whole country. The authors are invited to consider deeper causes, ensure reliable creditworthiness and solvency of bank borrowers, and achieve greater efficiency in reducing risks.
