Abstract

The article considers sustainable development from the perspective of balancing economic, social, and environmental interests in the aspect of cooperation between border regions. The article highlights certain signs of cross-border cooperation, as well as factors affecting the level of involvement of border regions in cross-border communications, and analyzes indicators of cross-border cooperation of the Novosibirsk Region and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
