Abstract

The local history subject is a culture which has to be conserved. Accordingly; local culture of South Sulawesi learning requires sufficient pedagogical competence. Theoretical approach applied to comprehend the realites in the field involved developing learning devices. Meanwhile; the methodological tool employed to reveal dan analyse the data was qualitative approach with constructivism paradigm. The data were obtained through in-depth interview; observation and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through data condensation; data display and conclusion drawing. The data were validated through four methods; credibility; transferability; dependability and confirmability.
