- Abstract
This study explores the nuanced relationship between internalized societal judgment and the experience of psychological distress among men facing substance use issues. It examines how perceived stigma contributes to emotional difficulties, specifically focusing on the interplay of anxiety, depressive symptoms, and stress. The research utilizes quantitative methods to assess these connections, highlighting the importance of addressing the psychological burden associated with substance use in male populations to improve mental health outcomes.
