Abstract

A detailed simulation model of Photovoltaic (PV) generation system based on MATLAB/Simulink and the detailed mathematical presentation, is established first. Its inverter-based simplified model, i.e. the switching-function equivalent model is proposed and simulated, overcoming the limit of traditional methods in simulation speed. The real-time simulation platform based on dSPACE and DSP controller is established, and its validity and utility are assessed by evaluating the system performance under solar irradiance/temperature disturbance.
