Proceedings of the 10th International Seminar and 12th Congress of Indonesian Society for Microbiology (ISISM 2019)

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and welcome everyone to the 10th International Seminar and 12th Congress of Indonesian Society for Microbiology (10th ISISM and 12th CISM). It also gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone to our beautiful city, Solo which offers exciting places and culinary for both international and local participants to visit and enjoy.

With the theme of ―Microorganism Contribution In Industrial 5,0 to Support Sustainable Development and Improve Human Welfare‖, the goals of this seminar is to disseminate the lastest advancements in research, development and application of technology, to strengthen networks among domestic and foreign microbiologist, technology and industries as well as the government, also to encourage standardization of microbiological expertise. In relation to this, the importand feature of this year‘s seminar is our keynote speakers Prof. H. Mohaman Nasir, Ak, Ph.D, Indonesian Minister of Research Technology and Higher Education; Dr.Ir. H. In this opportunity, I would like to convey my highest appreciation and gratitude for their willingness to share their expertise and bright ideas on current issue of the microorganism and human welfare.

To make this seminar happen, I would like to thank the paper presenters, both oral and poster and participants for their participation without which, the seminar will be meaningless. All the paper presenter cover such a wide range of aspects of the theme and they come from different areas of Indonesia (East Java, Central Java, West Java, East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sumatera, South Sumatera, West Sumatera etc) and overseas (France, Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Germany). With the variety of the presenters, I hope it will strengthen scientific network by sharing new valuable ideas and perspectives. Therefore, to the participants, I would like to thank and highly appreciated your effort and time to make it here, because your participation is very important to the overall success of this seminar.

Last but not least, I would like to express my profound gratitude and appreciation for all sponsors and the organizing committee and people who have work really hard to support and help in making this seminar possible.
