It was held on August 27–28, 2022, conducted through an online platform. ISoLEC 2022 aims at providing both the presenters and participants with a forum to share their knowledge, skills, thoughts, as well as their best practices related to this year’s theme: “Embracing Changes and Innovations in Language, Education, Art, and Culture in Post- Pandemic Life”. The other key issues in the seminar include: (1) changes and innovations in language, education, and culture; (2) changes and innovations in literature and art; (3) online teaching and learning practices; (4) corpus-based language, teaching, and research; (5) language in media; (6) gender and identity; (7) pop, contemporary, and digital culture; (8) culture and spirituality; (9) multilingualism and translanguaging; (10) visual and performing arts; (11) oral tradition and local culture; and (12) digital literacy and information science. Prominent scholars in the field of language, education, art, and culture are invited to share their insights and expertise on issues related to the theme. We proudly welcome Prof. Glenn Stockwell,Waseda University, Japan; Prof. Daniel Hugo Rellstab, PH Schwabisch Gmund University, Germany; Prof. Mujeebur Rahman, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India; Zamzuriah Zahari, Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan, Malaysia; Prof. Yazid Basthomi, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia; and Dr. Julio Rels Jatoba, University of Macau, China.
