This article is devoted to the study of the dynamics of adolescents’ cognitive complexity. The results of empirical research allow us to conclude that cognitive complexity increases during adolescence; cognitive complexity is associated with the level of intellectual development and school performance of the teenager. The authors give recommendations about using the data obtained in the construction of the educational process.
