Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of motivation to improve skills among teachers of higher education and educational organizations. The results of empirical research allow us to formulate specific features of teachers’ motivation in organizations of different levels of education. Higher school teachers have more manifest ability to self-development. The leading motive for professional development and professional growth of University teachers is self-affirmation, school teachers are aware of the social importance of their profession.
