Abstract

The article summarizes the results of the study on the problem of competence-based approach to the organization of students’ environmental education. The conditions affecting the development of interest in the study of objects of nature are substantiated. The article shows the positive impact of the use of educational and cognitive monitoring practical and project technologies, and research activities on the level of formation of environmental competence of students. The necessary conditions for improving the efficiency of the process of environmental education are identified.
