Abstract

At present, the divorce rate is increasing year by year. The study on marriage quality and its influencing factors is crucial to the stability and harmony of family and society. Therefore, this paper is about investigation of relationship between self-congruence and marriage-quality among 245 married professional women by using Locke-Wallace Short Marital Adjustment and Prediction Test and Self - Consistency and Congruence Scale. The results showed that there was a close relationship between self-congruence and marriage-quality of professional women. The higher self-congruence, the better marriage-quality.
