- Abstract
The Western Land-Sea New Passage, a vital component of China’s regional strategy, demands enhanced practical and systematic thinking capabilities from transportation economics professionals. This study implements curriculum reforms under the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework, establishing three core objectives and evaluating outcomes through experimental reports, classroom case analyses, and comprehensive final assessments. While demonstrating notable effectiveness in problem analysis and practical skill development, the reform faces challenges in content integration, competency transfer, and assessment consistency. Analysis of curriculum goal achievement reveals that compared to traditional approaches, OBE methodology more effectively supports talent cultivation objectives for the Western Land-Sea New Passage initiative.
