To advance scientific innovation, foster open collaborations, and build an inclusive academic ecosystem, the 2025 5th International Conference on Internet Technology and Educational Informatization (ITEI 2025) was held in Qingdao, China, from August 22 to 24, 2025. The conference provided a comprehensive platform for international scholarly exchange and research cooperation.

ITEI 2025 brought together leading scholars and industry experts in artificial intelligence and educational technology from across the globe to engage in profound discussions on AI-enabled education. The event highlighted both theoretical advances and practical innovations, effectively bridging academic research and industrial applications.

The conference program included diverse sessions addressing cutting-edge topics such as internet technology empowering educational innovation, intelligent education systems, educational big data analytics, human-computer collaborative teaching, and digital literacy enhancement. Forward-looking insights were shared on issues including the opportunities and challenges of AI-enhanced science education, real-time resource allocation in 5G/6G systems based on non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technologies, guiding sustainable eco-friendly behaviors through gamified digital platforms, dual-teacher classroom with ternary interaction and human-machine collaborative teaching, and social media applications for small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries. These themes were discussed by five distinguished keynote speakers: Professor Baohui Zhang (Shaanxi Normal University), Professor Hsiao-Hwa Chen (National Cheng Kung University), Professor Songhua Du (Guangdong University of Technology), Professor Kaiquan Chen (Ocean University of China), and Associate Professor Sikandar Ali Qalati (Liaocheng University).

Oral and poster presentations featured the latest research in educational informatization practices, technological integration and innovation, curriculum design and evaluation, and teacher professional development. These contributions reflected the diversity and complexity of educational informatization applications, offering practical and targeted insights.
