Abstract

For offshore crane in the operation process, due to the suspension of lifting wire rope belongs to the flexible parts and wind, wave and ocean environment. These cause the load swing. A new type of offshore crane tele-scopic sleeve anti-swing device was proposed. It uses the casing of the rigid constraints to reduce the swing of the load. The telescopic sleeve device was introduced, and the mathematical model was established. The kin-ematic simulation was carried out by Adams. From the simulation result, we can get the conclusions that the telescopic sleeve has obvious effects of anti-swing.
