Abstract

Optimization and calculation of the phase diagram of Pt-Sn binary system were presented by Pandat software.The Gibbs free energy of the pure component (Au and Pt) was described by the expression of the SGTE (Science Group Thermodata Europe) database, Using the solid solution phase thermodynamic model to describe the liquid and solid solution phases. Using the PanOptimizer optimization platform and the latest experimental data the parameters for each phase of the Pt-Sn binary system were optimized. Both calculated phase diagram and thermodynamic properties agree well with most of relative experimental data.
