So, the aim of this study is to investigate the learning effectiveness by using active learning model. The study was conducted by case study method. This study involved more than 1.760 students in 11 years duration. The result shows that the uniqueness activities of active learning model such like individual virtual learning, personal account of activity log, event organizer, and assisting the school in the track and field during event are able to help pre-service physical education teacher to have a deeper understanding about track and field. This approach led student to learn actively by understanding the teaching materials in the virtual learning and also taking part in the event organizing.
