Abstract

The Quality TISOL teachers are the most important needs in realizing the success of TISOL learning. TISOL teachers are required to have a variety of competencies (professional, pedagogical, personality, and socio-cultural). For this reason, these competencies need to be presented either explicitly or implicitly in lectures or "TISOL Teacher" training. This study aims to develop the design of the competencies of prospective TISOL teachers based on Flipped Learning. The Flipped Learning Model was chosen with the consideration that the model can optimize the learning process so that it has an impact on good learning outcomes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The subjects of this study were TISOL teaching candidates who took BIPA courses in the Indonesian Language and Literature Department, Suarabaya State University. The researcher designed the RP and simulation learning based on Flipped Learning. Researchers as well as lecturers plan activities before in class, during class, and after class to achieve lecture competency targets. Lectures are simulated through synchronous and asynchronous activities, so that media literacy, digital literacy, and information literacy also develop. The data analysis and processing model uses the principles of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. The credibility and validity of research data is evidenced by the triangulation technique. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the Learning Plan prepared based on literature studies get good responses from the results of questionnaires and interviews with TISOL teaching candidates, TISOL supporting lecturers, as well as the results of expert validation from Medan State University, Indonesia and experts from Hankuk University, South Korea . This proves that the results of this study are in the very good category and can be applied.
