Abstract

A careful study of the errors will reveal the common characteristics shared by the language learners. Based on the theory of Error Analysis and Corpus-based Error Analysis, and with the great help of computer technology, this paper is trying to make an empirical study on common writing errors committed by Chinese non-English major students and put forward some practical approaches to the error correction, which is believed to be of great help to both the language teachers and the language learners.
