Abstract

In the course of their education, students face various mental health problems that impact the smoothness of their education. This stressful and risky situation can ideally be managed with various psychological interventions. However, the search for these psychological conditions is often not optimally carried out because of the weakness of the assessment process before counseling interventions are carried out. This study aims to develop a comprehensive measuring tool regarding the psychological condition and mental health of students named the Zadrian-Ifdil Problem Checklist (ZIPC). This study involved 638 respondents in all universities in Indonesia. To find patterns and meet the requirements for developing a good measuring instrument, the research data was processed by applying the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) Model, resulting in the distribution of factors that supported each other’s constructsṁ.
