Abstract

The problem in this research is how the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Infrastructure Development in Fursuy Village, Selaru District The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the Village Consultative Body in Infrastructure Development in Fursuy Village, Selaru District and the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of the Role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD).) in Infrastructure Development in Fursuy Village, Selaru District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using triangulation, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques using observation techniques and questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique in qualitative research is a data processing process by arranging the data sequence, organizing it into a pattern, categorizing, and describing it. The results showed that the role of the Fursuy Village Consultative Body, Selaru District in carrying out the function of supervising Village Regulations was still not carried out optimally, this was seen from the results of the study found obstacles such as lack of facilities and socialization, as well as technical guidelines that should be given by the Regency Government. The biggest inhibiting factors in the implementation of BPD supervision of the Fursuy Village Government, Selaru District are: Allowances from BPD members, facilities, and understanding of the duties and functions of the BPD in the administration of Village Government, as well as other factors, such as mental attitude, and other factors. existing customs/families. Efforts made by the Village Government to overcome these inhibiting factors include: Regular meetings/consolidation between Village Apparatus and BPD and the community; The Village Head invites sub-district staff/employees to provide knowledge about Legal Drafting; The Village Government always socializes and appeals to the community about the role of the BPD.
