Due to the continuous improvement of China’s education level, more and more attention has been paid to education. Among them, preschool education has always been the top priority.Therefore, in the new era, we should choose appropriate educational ideas and methods based on children’s own characteristics. In order to fully guarantee the quality of preschool education, first of all, we should help teachers constantly update their teaching ideas from the source. As picture books are the cultural carriers that children are formally exposed to for the first time, the knowledge and aesthetics contained in them will be conveyed to children in the form of pictures and texts. They are not only an effective tool for children’s learning, but also an educational strategy that educators should implement. Therefore, in the process of cultivating excellent preschool teachers in vocational colleges, we should do a good job in the analysis of picture book teaching of preschool education as far as possible, effectively integrate the creative concept of art picture books, clarify the value of picture books in the art teaching of preschool education specialty, and put forward corresponding improvement countermeasures for the problems existing in the picture book teaching at this stage, so as to effectively improve the quality of picture book teaching of preschool education specialty in higher vocational colleges, So as to raise the overall teaching level of kindergarten to a new level.
