Welcome to the Proceedings of the 2025 5th International Conference on Culture, Design and Social Development (CDSD 2025). CDSD 2025 aimed to foster in-depth dialogue on how cultural values, design practices, and social development strategies mutually inform and reshape one another in both historical and contemporary contexts. Beyond individual case studies, CDSD 2025 articulated a broad intellectual landscape encompassing cultural studies, design research, and social development theory. Conference discussions engaged with cultural diversity, regional and traditional cultures, language and educational exchange, and the evolution of cultural industries in a globalized world.
