Discourse Analysis on Online Media

This study analyzed the discourse analysis on online media "detik.com". It uses Fairlough theory in the analyses which try to see text in three dimension;text, discourse and social practice dimension. The theory used is Sudaryanto theory, pragmatic identity method. The result shows that the journalist use some figurative language to attracts reader attention. In arranging the headline, the journalist present a balance information.
