Abstract

We experience continuous changes from time to time. This process will result in new challenges and problems which in turn can threaten the sustainability of life. For our life to be sustainable, we must have a critical spirit and the ability to make a decision to undergo changes which are more humane. Education can play a critical role to develop these competencies. This paper will discuss the role of education for sustainable development by using holistic and reflective learning theories
