- Abstract
In the context of globalization and the growing trend of responsible consumption, the Halal market is emerging as a highly promising economic sector. Halal products not only serve the Muslim community but also attract consumer groups who value ethics, hygiene, and sustainable lifestyles. Many countries have proactively leveraged their cultural identity as a strategic advantage to develop the Halal industry, thereby fostering a friendly image and promoting effective integration with the global Muslim community. In Vietnam, despite significant strengths in agriculture, food processing, and exports, limited awareness of Islamic culture and the absence of a comprehensive cultural approach pose major challenges. This article adopts a cultural perspective to analyze the role of cultural factors in building trust, fostering connections with the global Halal market, and enhancing international integration capacity. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes strategic directions to develop a culturally integrated, business-oriented, and globally connected Halal ecosystem in Vietnam.
