Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore new ideas to college English writing teaching with the help of modern information technology. This paper introduces the characteristics of big data, and analyzes the problems of conventional college English writing teaching. Then it discusses the influence of big data on college English writing teaching. Finally, the paper presents several proposals to the teaching reform of college English writing in the big data era. The innovation of this paper is that it discusses the impact of big data on college English writing teaching and arouses the new reflection on teaching mode of college English writing.
