Abstract

Multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/Pb-Sn composite coatings and Pb-Sn alloy coatings were prepared by electrodeposition technique, respectively. The Internal stress of the coatings was studied through changed the Process parameters and the binding force of the coatings were compared through Thermal shock experiment. The morphology images of the Pb-Sn coatings and Pb-Sn composite coatings were observed by SEM, it shows that the Pb-Sn composite coating has a lower binding force than the Pb-Sn coating. This was mainly about the uniform distribution of MWCNT in the coatings, thereby reducing the internal stress.
