- Abstract
This paper examines the foundational role of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression for national rejuvenation from both historical and contemporary perspectives. It distils three key contemporary insights: national awakening and unity constitute the fundamental prerequisites for rejuvenation; adherence to a people-centred development philosophy and the leadership of the Communist Party of China represent the fundamental guarantees for realising the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
