The conference brought together scholars and educators to discuss how education, language, and artistic practices respond to social change, cultural interaction, and educational innovation in contemporary contexts. The academic program featured three keynote speeches that reflected the interdisciplinary orientation of the conference. Prof. Yuying Wang examined the cultural significance of female Japanese writers awarded the Akutagawa Prize during the Heisei era, highlighting literature's role in value formation amid social transformation. Prof. Jiaqiang Hu focused on design thinking as a communicative tool, illustrating how design can function as a medium for cultural connection. Assoc. Prof. Hengyu Liu addressed the integration of culture and design in visual communication education, presenting practical approaches to empowering rural revitalization. Together with the oral presentation sessions, these contributions enriched the conference by linking theoretical reflection with educational practice and social application. Discussions at ICELA 2025 covered a wide range of topics across education, linguistics, and the arts. Research in education addressed pedagogy, language education, digital learning, educational psychology, and comparative studies across different educational systems. Linguistic studies explored language and cognition, sociolinguistics, translation, language policy, and interdisciplinary approaches to language use in educational and social contexts. In the field of arts and humanities, contributions examined literature, visual and performing arts, digital and interactive media, art education, cultural heritage, and the social and ethical dimensions of artistic creation. These studies collectively underscored the close relationship between cultural expression, language practice, and educational development. The conference attracted over 100 participants, exceeding the total number of submitted papers. A total of 143 manuscripts were submitted, and after peer review, 61 papers were accepted for publication in the proceedings. The editors extend their appreciation to all contributors and reviewers whose efforts ensured the academic quality of ICELA 2025. It is hoped that this volume will support further research and dialogue in the intersecting fields of education, language, and art. ICELA 2025 Conference Committee
