Abstract

Recently, a series of reforms in college English have made remarkable effects, but the problem of “more time less efficiency” still exists and has been one of the heated topics in teaching. This paper analyzes the causes from the perspectives of social environment, teacher and student, then puts forward the strategies and solutions to improve students’ English in private colleges and universities.
