Abstract

This paper discusses the factors contributing to the success of PBL College English teaching. Reasonable project design, development of learners’ participation awareness and abilities, as well as multi-dimensional project evaluation are all indispensable for the successful implementation of PBL College English teaching. Well –organized PBL teaching would be effective in cultivating learners’ initiative learning awareness and critical thinking ability as well as developing their language proficiency.
