Abstract

Liu Shaoqi is one of the founders of the People’s Republic of China and an outstanding Marxist. He devoted his life to the cause of the party and the people, and made outstanding contributions to the victory of China new democratic revolution, the birth of new China, the smooth progress of socialist transformation and the continuous progress of socialist modernization. Liu Shaoqi’s “On the Cultivation of Communists” is a classic textbook for Chinese Communists to cultivate and exercise their own party spirit, improve their ideological and moral qualities, and strengthen political immunity.
