Abstract

In the context of the deep integration of cultural inheritance and digital technology, red-themed animation has emerged as a pivotal medium for perpetuating revolutionary heritage and fortifying national cultural confidence through its vivid narrative forms. With the iterative advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), the red-themed animation industry faces historic opportunities to transcend traditional creative and dissemination boundaries. This study examines the underlying logic of enhanced artistic expression and reconstructed communication paradigms in red-themed animation under technological impetus, focusing on the penetration of AI-Generated Content (AIGC) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies throughout the industrial chain. By constructing a synergistic development model integrating “Technology Empowerment – Content Innovation – Industrial Upgrade,” we reveal intelligent technology’s significant efficacy in boosting creative efficiency and optimizing immersive experiences. Concurrently, we identify practical challenges such as insufficient technological adaptability and absence of interdisciplinary collaboration mechanisms. Through theoretical deduction and empirical case validation, this research proposes actionable pathways across three dimensions: technological R&D innovation, industrial ecosystem synergy, and cultivation of interdisciplinary talent. These pathways aim to establish a sustainable innovation system for the red-themed animation industry, unlocking its greater value potential in the new era.
