It is our honor and pleasure to present this proceeding for the International Conference on Social, Politics, Administration, and Communication Sciences, sponsored by the Communication Forum for the Deans of Social and Political Sciences Faculty/Chair of School of Social and Political Sciences in Indonesia (FK-DKSIP) on the issue of innovation and globalization, on the development of social, politics, administration, and communication sciences. The conference was held on November 10–11, 2022, at Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI), Cimahi, Indonesia.

This gathering brought together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students from various disciplines to share their insights and engage in stimulating discussions on the dynamic fields of social, politics, administration, and communication sciences. The theme of “innovation and globalization” provided a broad framework to explore the transformative impact of these two interconnected forces on society, politics, administration, and communication.

The International Conferences on Social, Politics, Administration, and Communication Sciences served as a platform for intellectual exchange, fostering collaboration, and the dissemination of cutting-edge research findings. It aimed to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapid advancements in technology, the evolving global landscape, and the changing needs and aspirations of individuals and communities worldwide.

Throughout the conference, participants had the opportunity to delve into a diverse range of topics, including but not limited to:

Social Sciences: Exploring the social dynamics, cultural shifts, and societal implications of innovation and globalization. This encompassed studies on social change, human behavior, social inequalities, migration patterns, and the impact of digital technologies on social interactions.

Political Sciences: Examining the evolving role of politics and governance in the era of globalization and innovation. This included discussions on political ideologies, democratic processes, policy-making, international relations, and the challenges faced by nation-states in a globalized world.

Administrative Sciences: Investigating innovative administrative practices and strategies to adapt to the changing landscape. Topics in this area encompassed public administration, organizational management, leadership, public policy implementation, and the role of technology in transforming administrative processes.

Communication Sciences: Analyzing the transformative power of communication in the era of globalization and innovation. This involved discussions on media studies, digital communication, journalism, strategic communication, and the influence of communication technologies on societies and cultures.

The conference proceedings present a collection of papers that showcase the breadth and depth of research conducted in these fields. They provide valuable insights, theoretical frameworks, empirical findings, and practical implications that can contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the development of innovative solutions.
