Abstract

This article considers the issues of developing strategic directions for the region's growth, which aim at achieving economic stability. The study has selected key industries and revealed industrial clusters of the Republic of Mari El as well as found industrial groups with significant growth indicators. In fact, these groups can set a base for cluster initiatives insuring economic stability of the region.
