Abstract

The article deals with small business and reveals the essence of the concept of "self-employed". The reasons for people to resort to self-employment, as well as their shadow economic activity are considered. Lists the main activities that relate to self-employment. It is noted that small enterprises and self-employed carry out their activities in inadequate economic conditions, which is especially important in the transition to the digital economy
