Abstract

This study aims to develop an Outcome based education (OBE) -based experimental teaching model to enhance students’ data analysis and practical innovation capabilities. By analyzing traditional teaching practices, clarifying OBE requirements for experimental instruction, establishing alignment between course objectives and training standards, creating a three-tiered experimental project repository, innovating student-centered pedagogy, and implementing a diversified assessment system, the model was validated through medical information engineering education. Teaching practice demonstrated significant improvements in students’ standardized lab reports and data analysis depth, effectively boosting practical skills and learning motivation. The OBE-guided experimental teaching model successfully bridges theory and practice, substantially elevating instructional quality.
