Abstract

Enterprise R&D intensity is affected by internal and external factors. According to the listed companies of China’s manufacturing enterprises and the analysis of the data of industry breakdown in 2013, the study finds: The lower asset-liability ratio is, the greater its R&D intensity will be. Corporate profitability and market competition situation have a weak influence on R&D intensity. High-tech enterprise identity is a critical factor influencing enterprise R&D intensity.
