Abstract

The existence of the Job Creation Law in essence not only has an impact on the community, but also on the implementation of regional autonomy. The emphasis on regional autonomy is strongly influenced by central policies that can change the scope of regional authority, including the job creation law. The omnibus law of the Job Creation Law is a “homework” for each region to respond to the demands that have been regulated through the law. The existence of the Employment Creation Law has brought so many influences and impacts on the administration of local government, including the regional regulations which are the rules and forms of regional policies in the context of implementing decentralization. Therefore, this research is needed to find the legal implications of the Job Creation Law on the implementation of decentralization. This study aims to regulate the direction of local government legal policies in order to meet legal demands on regional regulations after the issuance of the Job Creation Law. This study uses a conceptual approach and laws and regulations, which are expected to be able to produce a concept of the legal implications of the omnibus law of the Job Creation Law on the implementation of decentralization.
