Abstract

English-Chinese bilingual teaching has been developing rapidly, the bottleneck of current bilingual teaching in primary and middle schools is not enough qualified teachers in nearly a decade in China. Level and the quality of the bilingual education of primary and secondary schools are mainly depends on the quality of bilingual teachers, so the training of qualified bilingual teachers is the key to the success of bilingual education of primary and secondary schools. In order to solve the English-Chinese bilingual teacher shortage difficulties of primary and secondary schools, higher normal colleges and universities can be pre-service training to cultivate college students ability of bilingual teaching, make full use of the normal graduates are the main source of local primary and secondary school teachers, from the source to solve the current problem of the shortage of bilingual teachers of primary and secondary schools, and development for every subject in the process of training bilingual teaching materials, so as to improve the level of bilingual education of primary and secondary schools.
