Abstract

The article dwells on the basic principles of delivering corporate English language training programs on the job by the Institute of Facultative Education of the Samara State Technical University. The article gives a comparison of two case studies to demonstrate the different approaches taken by the customers of the program and the impact of those approaches on the learning curve and final results. The authors arrive at the conclusion that less formal approaches without compromising the quality of teaching tend to yield better results.
