- Abstract
With the continuous deepening of the intelligent transformation and upgrading of China’s construction industry, the market demand for professionals in intelligent construction is promising. Since 2020, the establishment of the Intelligent Construction major in domestic universities has shown a rapid growth trend. The primary pathway for universities to develop the Intelligent Construction major is through the transformation and upgrading of the traditional Civil Engineering major. Based on a comparative analysis of the educational objectives between the traditional Civil Engineering major and the Intelligent Construction major, this paper further elaborates on the construction methods for the curriculum system of the Intelligent Construction major in universities from three aspects: the top-level design philosophy of the core curriculum system, interdisciplinary curriculum setup, and the development of practical courses.
