Abstract

In the context of the artificial intelligence era, technology is increasingly integrated into educational processes, making the emerging “Dual-Teacher” model—combining a human teacher with an intelligent AI assistant—an inevitable trend in modern pedagogical development. This study begins by reviewing the conceptual evolution of human-machine collaboration and examines the nature and role positioning of such collaboration in AI-supported teaching. A structured process framework for the “Dual-Teacher” human-machine collaborative teaching model is proposed, encompassing three instructional phases: pre-class, in-class, and post-class. Furthermore, practical implementation strategies are suggested, including the development of a compatible teaching environment, the enhancement of digital and AI literacy among teachers and students, and the reinforcement of effective instructional evaluation and management mechanisms. The findings provide theoretical and practical insights to support further research and application of human-machine collaborative teaching in next-generation “Dual-Teacher” classrooms.
