Abstract

Following the rapid development of information technology and the knowledge economy, online courses as an innovative educational model are deeply refactoring the distribution pattern of traditional educational resources. Online courses have a double-edged sword role in promoting educational equity. Systematically analysing its impact is of significant meaning for the educational policies and practices. This essay will systematically discuss the double-edged sword role of online courses in promoting educational equity, analyse their positive and negative roles and propose strategic recommendations for technology society collaborative governance and platform assistance. Online courses take advantage of inclusive distribution of educational resources and personalized development, but due to Uneven regional economic development, Infrastructure differences and Lack of quality supervision, the development of online courses has obstructions in the promotion process. The future requires government macroeconomic regulation and control and the construction of platform quality assurance system, so as to build multi-party collaborative governance and realize collaborative optimization between technology and society, promoting educational equity and high-quality development.
