Abstract

This paper focuses on the value-added of teachers in higher education, aiming to address the limitations of traditional professional growth paradigms. Based on intellectual capital theory and supported by literature review, it systematically analyzes influence mechanism on teachers’ value-added. Building upon this foundation, this paper proposes a digital-intelligence-driven intellectual capital model for teacher development. This framework operates from three dimensions-human capital, structural capital, and relational capital—leveraging digital-intelligent technologies as catalytic mediators. Key measures include: AI + training programs, intelligent platform upgrades, dynamic evaluation systems for institutional optimization, cross-institutional collaboration networks, college-industry integration initiatives, shared resource ecosystems. The research demonstrates that digital-intelligence technologies drive synergistic effects across intellectual capital dimensions through: knowledge graph-enabled tacit knowledge explication, teaching design optimization by leaning and analyzing, real-time feedback via intelligent systems. These mechanisms collectively enable systematic value-added growth in teacher competencies across four domains: disciplinary knowledge, pedagogical excellence, research innovation, and societal service contributions.
