- Abstract
Organizational support serves as a core guarantee for deepening university-business cooperation in vocational institutions and is key to addressing insufficient motivation among teachers and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of industry-education integration. Based on a survey of 2,683 teachers from vocational colleges, this study examines the relationship between organizational support and teachers’ engagement in university-business cooperation, as well as the mediating roles of cooperation willingness and perceived cooperation barriers. The results indicate that: (1) Organizational support significantly and positively predicts teachers’ engagement in university-business cooperation; (2) cooperation willingness mediates the relationship between organizational support and teachers’ engagement; (3) Cooperation barriers mediate the relationship between organizational support and teachers’ engagement; (4) Organizational support indirectly influences teachers’ engagement through the chain mediation pathway of cooperation willingness and cooperation barriers.
