Abstract

Diversity is not only existed in society but also Education. It is the same with what society has, starting from the diverse ethnic, language, and social class in the school. From that diversity, the term multicultural education which is taught in schools emerges. Multicultural education is an education that teaches mutual respect and acceptance behaviors toward diversity in the school environment like diverse ethnic, religion, language, etc. this article reviews some literature related to the practice of multicultural education which has been applied in Indonesian schools.
