Abstract

Film music is an essential part of video works, and it bears the narrative, ideographic, and lyrical functions. Different styles of film music will produce different results to video works. The audience communicate and share through images, sound and people's inner feeling when appreciating the process of video works. According to my many years experience of work and study, I analyzed the aesthetic characteristics of film and television music, and discussed the "Humor Beauty", "Tragic Beauty", "Tenderness Beauty", "Majestic Beauty" and "Secretive Beauty" of film music. Then on this basis, the paper studied the rendering effect of the film music for the video works. The research findings in this paper will has a certain guidance to the development of film music.
